When launching our new Befriending service all of us here at HQ were brainstorming some of the most meaningful activities we can support you with at home from accessing the community to reigniting hobbies and passions… the list is endless.
One of the most discussed answers was baking. We all had fond memories of our families baking and even some of the very yummy treats we have tried to bake at home, tried being the Key word there. That warm sweet smell wafting in from the kitchen and eagerly waiting for it too cool down before tucking in, even if it was just before dinner!
We reached out to Millie the Kettering Morrison Community Champion and asked if she could donate anything towards our Befriending service, things like crafting items, magazines or even some baking items. Well we did not expect to get such an amazing donation. I had the absolute pleasure today to attend Morrison’s to collect our donation. Thank you so much for support our service and clients.
